Gulfstream releases CD - "Off The Charts"

Los Angeles - May 2013

Gulfstream just completed its first (and last!) CD - "Off The Charts". Composed and produced by Grammy nominated engineer Greg Alevizos, it is a recreation of the original cassette release from 1986 of jazz fusion compositions performed at  the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival -  this collection of music is truly a story of a great friendship which has spanned over a quarter of a century. With music created from the heart and soul, it is designed to inspire both the listener and the performer to new musical awareness. This recording features original members Greg Alevizos (keys), James Cabiran (drums) and Brian Morgan (guitar) with additional performers Doug Webb (sax) and Doug Meeuswen (trumpet).

Gulfstream performs at APPS Grand Opening!

Los Angeles -  October 2012

Gulfstream recently performed in Los Angeles at the grand opening of the video production facility, Aardvark Park Production Services (APPS). While it was a great chance for Aardvark Park to showoff its digs to the local LA film and video community, it was also a chance for reunion between East Coast, New Orleans and Los Angeles members of the band, some meeting for the first time. We always have a good time performing! Featuring original members Greg Alevizos, James Cabiran and Brian Morgan with local LA sax legend Doug Webb. The band also took advantage of this time to finish laying down the horn parts for their new album "Off The Charts" due out in May 2013.
